Viral Marketing

Viral Marketing: "A person I know was just getting started, and wanted to make a big splash and get his name out there fast. He developed a software product that did something that many people could use, then he just gave it away free everywhere he could! Of course this software had his name all over it, so very quickly many people learned his name. He also collected email addresses from everyone that downloaded his software and built an email list very quickly. He kept on giving away the free software and collected the email addresses and built a huge email list of prospects."
What happened was everyone told people they knew and friends, and those people told more people. If you give someone something of value for free, you gain their trust. then when you use your email list to sell a product you have or an affiliate product, chances are they'll trust you and buy!
